Haven't been feeling inspired by much lately but, surprisingly I really liked this recent story from Elle magazine. I'm diggin' the western vibe.......giddy up!
P.s. Trish Goff where have you been hiding?

Hot and spicy

Mens shoes from Louis Vuitton
Today seems to be all about shoes but I couldn't resist posting these two!
Trying to convince a friend (Alissia Marciano from Look-a-like) to buy these stunners for her wedding but she hasn't caved yet.  Valentino  $695
Also come in pink and black but not as HOT!

Weird or Wonderful?

Sergio Rossi's collaboration with Puma
Comfort and style at the same time...is it really possible? Not with this one!
This actually reminds me of a group project I had in university. The assignment was to design a unique shoe and my groups idea was quite similar to this. Cut a sneaker and a pump in half and then try to combine the two in order to achieve style and comfort at the same time. The result not so hot and definitely not something any of us would wear. The idea is there but maybe this one is better left alone!

Weird or Wonderful?

cashmere lingerie from Victoria's Secret

2009 SAG Awards - Enjoyed

Love the colour of the dress it works well for her. Hair colour not so much.
Great dress. Great colour.
Love this dress but she could have done something a little more with the hair, it throws it all off! A little updo is all I'm asking for, maybe some chandelier earrings.
I don't know what it is about Mickey Rourke but I like him! Most stylish man on the red carpet by far! Always the hand in the pants though...weirdly it works somehow. He's just one big question mark. The dress isn't my favourite but Tina Fey always seems to work it. She knows what works for her and sticks to it!

2009 SAG Awards - NOT SO MUCH!

Angelina get it together you're not a grandma yet! The fact that Brad has a blue pocket square to match her ugly dress is making me tense! Could anyone look more uncomfortable in a dress...I don't think so. Definitely not for her....it's a bit tinfoilish no? I don't even know what to say about this one!!! Too dark, too much!
What is this colour? It could be ok without the black shiz on the front!

Shades of Gray By: Jeff Gray

Transfashionable? Although Men’s fashion has always taken a back seat to Women’s, it is undeniable that the rise and fall of the metrosexual man circa 2002 has left a lasting impact on the psyche of men in the civilized world. And although some designers have been pushing the envelope and even crossing the line since the mid 80’s it is only now that we are seeing a wearable translation with the androgyny aesthetic… From nude and translucent blouses and sometimes bejeweled waist cinchers @ 3.1 Phillip Lim and Lavin, to skirts and culottes @ Comme Des Garcons, to the master of pushing the envelope Alexander McQueen who serves up a fusion of ideas melted together. And with anything that’s new and different there are things that are ready for the public now, and things that will be scoffed out of court…Skirts & culottes anyone? McQueen even offers us the 2 Tone pants and trousers that look like one piece unitards. I can’t decide if he’s completely bonkers or a complete genius by finally giving men the one step clothing decision that women have had for centuries… The dress… So run and tell your Tranny friends to cancel that trip to Mexico, there’s no need for surgery anymore. You can now dress like a woman in public.

Lovely somethings....a few vintage finds

I love vintage shopping. The thrill of the hunt and the excitement of finding something truly unique. Sometimes you have to play with and change things to get what you want but if you're lucky when you find it, it's just perfect. I love knowing that when I'm wearing a great find I never have to worry about running into someone wearing the same thing. Nothing worse than being out and spotting the same outfit on one or three other people. (Though I know we have all been there). At least you could get a good laugh out of it, maybe even a picture!
